Pretty Shou-Ryu on YJ!


I like this custom so much! You can really see the differences between the second edition and the third edition here, I think. I actually like the third one more, the stronger jaw line is much more attractive imo, and I love the face-up on this one! I have a lot of problems taking pictures of Shou-Ryu though, he looks so different from all my other dolls, and I never think he fits quite right with them. I love the headmold, but I just don't seem to be able to capture him very well (unlike celticgeekess and blissbee!).


Also, does anyone know what eyes he's wearing in the auction? They're gorgeous!

Can someone please help me translate this if they have time? I can get as far as "Welcome to our homepage!" I hope this says something like, "Yeah, sure you can order our dresses." Does it? Because it'd be pretty awesome if it did!

I played with the hands today. They're so cute! But the thumb thing bothers me too much, I think I'm going to sell them for sure. >.< My box of auction stuff came anyway, and there's a pair of H-03s in there too, so yay! Let's hope this next pair has all of its fingers!

Finally got the SD13 torso, I gave in and just bought a brand new one at Volks. ^^;; The thighs don't fit right though because the thighs are old old old old oringinal ones and the torso is last-version-before-pureskin. Makes me angry! I fiddled with it for an hour before finally giving up and fudging the whole thing. Now I need to wait for a pair of thighs to show up on YJ! or wait until my mom feels like driving me to Volks again. >.< It's kinda sad how the more school work I get, the more time I actually spend playing with dolls instead of studying. Bad, bad, bad.

It's been way too cold and rainy lately. Today I volunteered at the Huntington for Girl's Day and I saw a girl with a doll! She was too far away though and it was the middle of my shift. >.< I think it was a CP boy wearing a girl's dress, not like that narrows the list any.

And the dress that arrived from BerryHot. It's a little too tight for a MSD, but should fit the girls fine. I feel bad for making the poor boy wear it, but it's so cute and very well made.
